Worship

Worship is in the best tradition of the reformed, evangelical church. We aim for contemporary, lively, relaxed worship that is relevant to all ages. We believe that worship should be an opportunity to bring both our praise and our concerns to God
as well as an opportunity to allow God to minister to us. Hymns come from a wide variety of sources and cover the best of the last three hundred years of hymnody. Dance and drama are used from time to time.

Sundays at 11.00am

Children and adults worship together for the first twenty minutes after which the children go into Junior Church. Everybody meets together for tea and coffee after worship.

Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month.

Family Worship with the uniformed organisations parade, takes place four
times a year:

  • Mothering Sunday,
  • Church Anniversary & Father's Day,
  • Harvest Festival,
  • Christmas Gift Service.

Sundays at 6.30pm

Communion is celebrated on the third Sunday of the month.

Family worship takes place three timesa year:

  • On Remembrance Sunday there is a Civic Service and uniformed
    organisations parade.
  • The Sunday before Christmas is our Carols by Candlelight and is designed
with the whole family in mind.
On Christmas Eve we have a costumed Nativity Service

Worship with Prayer for Healing takes place quarterly on the first
Sunday of March, June, September and December includes an opportunity for
people to come forward for prayer.

Prayer

Power House Prayer Meeting - Tuesdays at 7.00pm

Every Tuesday evening there is a time of prayer for individuals, the church, the community and the world. It is led by one of our regular worshippers and we meet
in the Sidney Roberts Room from 7.00pm to 7.45pm.

Learning

House Group - Not Currently Meeting

The group follows a theme lasting four or five sessions at a time. However each meeting is self contained so it does not matter if you have to miss one.

Fellowship Groups

There are four fellowship groups comprising the membership and regular worshippers. Led by elders these groups meet three or four times a year
